About to ICIDME 2026
The International Conference on Industrial Design and Manufacturing Engineering (ICIDME 2026) will be held grandly in Shanghai, China's advanced manufacturing and technology innovation center. This conference focuses on the deep integration of industrial design innovation and manufacturing engineering technology, aiming to build a high-level and international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, designers, engineers, and enterprise representatives from the fields of global design, mechanical engineering, materials science, intelligent manufacturing, human-computer interaction, and product innovation. The conference will carry out in-depth discussions on cutting-edge issues such as intelligent product design and user experience optimization, sustainable design and green manufacturing, additive manufacturing (3D printing) and advanced molding technology, the application of digital design tools (CAD/CAE/CAM), human factor engineering and interaction design, the practice of industrial Internet and digital twins in manufacturing, customized production and flexible manufacturing systems, design driven industrial upgrading, and innovative design of intelligent equipment. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, design work exhibitions, and technology exchange, we aim to promote collaborative innovation across the entire "design manufacturing service" chain. ICIDME 2026 emphasizes innovative design to lead the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, promote the organic unity of aesthetic value, functional performance, and manufacturing efficiency, and assist in the upgrading of traditional industries and the development of emerging industries. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by EI, Scopus, or SCI to enhance academic influence.
Record
All full paper submissions to the ICIDME 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICIDME 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to icidme@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
